Since the stock market crash of 2008, the stock market has risen more than 200%. Yet the UNF Endowment is barely up 50% from its lows, and our endowment is essentially unchanged in the last ten plus years.
1) Can you please explain this performance?
2) Can you tell us, in dollar amount, how much the Foundation spends per year in management fees and expenses for its investments?
3) The last campaign raised more money than is in the endowment. How much of the money raised in the campaign went to the endowment? How much has been spent? How much was in pledges that have not been received yet?
